Dropped my bike off with a small problem and was quoted a fee. Came round to collect the bike and the cost was 150% the quoted cost. Poor service. At least call the customer if youre going to charge crazy prices.
A shifter failed on my road bike 72 hours before a Sportive I had trained months for. Other bike shops said there was nothing they could do - Haxby Cycles fixed it with 24 hours to spare! Very impressed at the service and a very reasonable price too.

Just picked up my son's bike. The customer service was great. The price was good and the order came very fast. The shop was smaller than some bike shops but the attention to detail was great. No pushy sales, just good honest information. This will be the only bike shop I will be using from now on. I recommend this shop to anyone wanting a new bike. The service won it for me. They even threw in a free cycle lock in an already well priced deal. Well done Haxby Cycles.
